The YC108 / 4CX5000A / 8170 is useful as an oscillator, amplifier or modulator at frequencies up to 220 MHz, Class AB1 audio amplifier, or as a screen-modulated radio frequency amplifier. The rated plate dissipation is 5 kW for most classes of services and 6 kW for Class AB operation.
