Audio Tubes

The 6L6GA is a beam power amplifier tetrode designed for use in the output stage of radio receivers or other equipment requiring high power output,
power sensitivity and efficiency. The power output at all levels has low third and negligible higher-order harmonic distortion.

The 6L6WGB / 5881 is the electrical equivalent to types 6L6 and 6L6GC except that the plate and screen dissipation ratings have been increased approximately 20 percent. It embodies a complete mechanical redesign which results in greater resistance to shock and vibration. The use of treated grids and anode greatly increases its overload capabilities and thereby provides desirable improvement in continuity of service. The addition of a low-loss barrier type base will provide obvious advantages in certain applications.

The 6L6GC is a beam power pentode primarily designed for use in audio-frequency power amplifier applications. Features of this tube include high power output capabilities, high plate and screen dissipation ratings, high efficiency, high power sensativity, and low distortion.

The higher ratings of the 6L6GC are advantageous when greater power handling capability is required.

The 6L6GB is a beam pentode designed primarily for use in audio-frequency power amplifier applications where relatively large power outputs are required.

Note: These are not as durable as 6L6GC types so it's not advised to use in amps where the plate voltage is over 410V
