Heliax is a type of coaxial cable that is designed and manufactured by CommScope/Andrew Corporation. It is a brand name for a family of coaxial cables that are widely used in high-frequency applications, such as in cellular networks, broadcasting, satellite communication, and military communication systems.
The Heliax cable features a corrugated outer conductor and a solid or foam dielectric material.
